On August 9, 2016 at 2:20 a.m., a 20 year old woman was awoken to find a male in the basement of her family home. The male had entered the home through an unlocked basement window. When the woman screamed for her parents the male fled back out the same window. Waterloo Regional Police attended and searched the area but were unable to locate the male. He is described as dark skinned, 61 with a medium build and dark facial scruff wearing a black baseball cap
