(Napanee, ON)- On Sunday, May 1, 2016 at 8:18 p.m. officers with the Napanee detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police received a complaint of a pick-up truck being driven erratically on Hwy 401 eastbound near Napanee.
An officer located and stopped the truck on Highway 401 near the Odessa turn off.
As a result of the investigation 57 year-old William HOFING of Brockville faces charges of impaired driving and over 80 mgs contrary to the Criminal Code. He is also charged with driving a motor vehicle with an open container of liquor contrary to the Liquor Licence Act.
He was released on a Promise to Appear and is scheduled to attend Provincial Court in Napanee on May 17, 2016.
