(WALKERTON, ON) – On May 8, 2015 at 12:46 p.m., the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a crash involving a pedestrian along Yonge Street south in Walkerton. Officers arrived to find that a 15 year-old Brockton teen was walking along the sidewalk around 12:10 p.m. when they were struck by a Black van leaving Cameron’s Funeral home parking lot. The teen was treated at hospital for minor injuries. Anyone with information on the van, or the driver, is asked to call the South Bruce OPP.
