Hit And Run – Cyclist Struck In Front of the Kawartha Downs Yesterday

(Cavan-Monaghan Township, ON) – Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a collision between a car and a cyclist that occurred yesterday around 11:30am.

The cyclist was riding southbound on Peterborough County Road 28 when he was struck from behind by a white car also travelling southbound. The male rider suffered hand and knee injuries as a result of the collision.

Police wish to speak with the driver of the small white car that may have damage on the right side and are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying that driver who fled the scene.
