A 20 year old Barrie resident his facing several charges after losing control of his motor vehicle on Grove Street near Barrie North Collegiate School and causing considerable damage to City property. The male was seen fleeing the scene of the accident and later attempted to report his car stolen.
The male was located by police and charged with Fail to Remain, Obstruct police and operate a motor vehicle with over 80 mg of alcohol. The male was released when sober with a future court date.
