Hiring Freeze Shot Down By Council

At Monday night’s council meeting, Councillor Bailey introduced a motion that would result in “a hiring freeze unless approved by council”.

This motion was defeated 2-4, with Bernie Bailey and Ray Hallahan the only two in favour of the hiring freeze by all North Huron departments.
