(ESSEX COUNTY, ON) -The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Essex County would like the public to be aware that both eastbound and westbound lanes of Highway 401 have been re-opened after closing due to hazardous road conditions.
Most Essex County roads remain snow covered and slippery so caution is urged when travelling on area roadways.
Blowing and drifting snow continues so if travel is not necessary, the OPP strongly advises you stay home. If you must venture out on roadways, use caution and take necessary precautions before leaving.
