Highway 21 and Highway 8 Are Now Open

(GODERICH, ON) The Huron County O.P.P. advices that as of 11:00 p.m. on August 25, 2011 Highway 21 and Highway 8 in the town of Goderich are now open to through traffic only. Officers requests that motorist traveling through the area do not stop to view the area as you are impeding traffic and emergency crews trying to clean up the aftermath.

All motorists are asked to respect the severity of the situation and the requests of the police. Local streets will still be closed and motorist caught traveling on the closed roads will be charged under the Highway Traffic Act.
