(QUINTE WEST, ON) – The Quinte West OPP responded to a serious fatal motor vehicle collision on Monday November 3rd, 2014, at 11:30am. The collision involved two vehicles on Highway 2 at Flindall Road. The highway was closed for several hours for OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators.
Frances HARVIE, 84, of Frankford was extricated from the vehicle at the scene of the collision and transported to hospital where she succumbed to her injuries. The other involved driver was not injured.
The investigation into the cause of the collision remains ongoing. No charges have been laid at this time.
