Henry OTTERTAIL – Drunk Driving

(FORT FRANCES, ON) – A member of the Rainy River District Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), has charged a Fort Frances man for Impaired Driving and Failing to Comply.

On May 6, 2018, at approximately 4:20 am, an officer from the Rainy River District OPP detachment was conducting patrol on King’s Highway in Fort Frances when he observed erratic driving. A traffic stop was initiated by the officer.

The officer determined that the driver had been consuming alcohol. The driver was arrested and transported to the detachment for further tests.

Henry OTTERTAIL, 33 years of age, of Fort Frances, was arrested and charged with:

Operate a Motor Vehicle with over 80 Mgs of Alcohol contrary to section 253(1)(b) of the Criminal Code,

Two counts of Fail to Comply with Conditions of Undertaking Given by Officer in Charge of the Criminal Code,

In addition to two provincial offence notices.

He is to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Fort Frances on May 28, 2018.
