(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Norfolk County Detachment have charged a male after police investigated an incident at a Concession 12, Townsend, Norfolk County, Ontario, address.
On Sunday, November 23, 2014 at approximately 6:01 p.m., police were contacted by concerned members of a residence and informed about an altercation that had taken place.
Through investigation it has been determined that a male became involved in a verbal altercation which then turned into a physical confrontation with two occupants of the home.
As a result of investigation, police arrested and charged 46 year old Hendryk Korneljusz OSTROWSKI of Norfolk County, Ontario with the following offences.
Assault with a weapon
Uttering threats – cause death or bodily harm
Careless use of a firearm
Breach of firearms regulations
Possession of weapon for dangerous purpose
Unauthorized possession of a firearm
Pointing a firearm
He is to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charges.
