(ADELAIDE-METCALFE TWP, ON) – Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is currently investigating a motor vehicle collision that occurred on Hickory Drive south of Second Street in the Adelaide-Metcalfe Township earlier this morning.
On November 12, 2013 at approximately 8:23 a.m. a northbound passenger van collided with a southbound car in a head on collision. All three occupants of the van and the lone occupant of the car were transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Hickory Drive was closed for approximately 30 minutes but has since been reopened. The collision is still under investigation.
Drivers are urged to slow down as weather and road conditions can change in an instant. Give yourself lots of time and space and stay in control as you react to adverse conditions. Keep your vehicle well maintained. Most importantly, get to your destination safely.
