(TOWN OF NEW TECUMSETH) – The Nottawasaga Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Crime Unit commenced an investigation in May 2013, when a local community member reported to the Nottawasaga OPP detachment that he was a victim of an investment fraud where he invested over $50,000 to what he believed was a real estate investment in 2010.
As a result of an extensive investigation, the Nottawasaga OPP Crime Unit charged 49 year-old, Edmond TEELUCKSINGH from Mississauga with one count of Fraud over $5,000.
Police believe there may be other victims in the community that were involved in various investment frauds offered by TEELUCKSINGH. Potential victims are encouraged to contact the Nottawasaga OPP Detachment to report their complaint 1-888-310-1122.
