(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TWP, ON) – On Tuesday August 13, 2013 at approximately 5:09pm Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers received a complaint about a Break and Enter in progress located at a Scrap and Precious Metal Business in Guelph-Eramosa Township. The OPP Canine Unit and the Emergency Response Unit (ERT) were called in to assist in the search for the suspects. After 4 hours of searching the area, two males were arrested.
A young male age 17 from Fergus is charged with Break and Enter contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on September 18, 2013 to answer to the charge.
Harry VANDENBOOM age 37 of Fergus is charged with Break and Enter contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on September 20, 2013 to answer to the charge.
