(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Street Crime Unit has charged a 64-year-old male, with drug related offences after conducting an investigation at a Harbour Street, Port Dover, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at approximately 12:39 p.m., members of the Street Crime Unit were on patrol in the area of Harbour Street, when a vehicle attracted the officer’s attention. The vehicle was subsequently stopped by police and investigated.
As result of the investigation, police seized a quantity of illicit drugs and Canadian currency valued at approximately $7,000 dollars along with a 2014 Dodge Ram pickup truck.
Charged with traffic Oxycodone, two (2) counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking Oxycodone and possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5,000 is 64-year-old Harry Laverne WALKER of Norfolk County, Ontario.
He is to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charges.
