(ONEIDA NATION OF THE THAMES FIRST NATION, ON) – On May 7, 2017, at approximately 10:05 a.m., the Oneida Nation of the Thames First Nation Police observed an erratic driver travelling on Elijah Road.
Officers located the grey Pontiac car parked on Fairgrounds Road and determined that the 39-year-old male who had been driving the motor vehicle had been drinking alcohol. He was placed under arrest and transported to a police detachment for breath testing.
As a result of the police investigation, Harlo CORNELIUS, of Oneida Nation of the Thames First Nation, Ontario, has been charged with driving while ability impaired – motor vehicle (alcohol), and driving with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in blood, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused was released from police custody by way of a Promise to Appear (PTA) and is scheduled to answer the charges in a London court on June 12, 2017.
