(KAPUSKASING, ON) – On October 6, 2015, the James Bay Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) with assistance from the Community Drug Action Team (CDAT) executed a drug warrant at a residence on Nelson Street in the Town of Kapuskasing. Within the residence, police seized Cocaine, Marihuana, $515 in Canadian currency as well as drug paraphernalia. The drugs have an estimated street value of $2800.
As a result, Hans JENSEN, 45, of Kapuskasing was arrested and charged with the following offences:
One count of Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine contrary to section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA), as well as;
One count of Possession of a Schedule II Substance – Cannabis Marihuana –Under 30 grams contrary to section 4(1) CDSA.
The accused will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Kapuskasing on November 2, 2015 to answer to the charges.
