On April 23, 2014, members of the Guns and Drugs Section, consisting of members of the London Police Service and RCMP, executed a search warrant at a residence on Oakland Avenue.
Firearm
Seized were the following:
High Standard Flite King 22 calibre handgun
2 rung Brass Knuckles
5 grams of marihuana – $50
0.5 grams of cocaine – $50
0.3 grams of crystal meth – $30
52 – 1mg Nabalone capsules – $1040
Total drugs seized: $1170
The handgun was reported stolen to the OPP as a result of a residential B&E in Wellington County in March 2012.
As a result of the investigation, Brian Maksoud (41), Pamela Evans (43), and Tyson Miscoiu (18), all of London have been charged with the following Criminal Code of Canada offences:
– Careless storage of firearm, contrary to section 86(1);
– Possess handgun without licence, contrary to section 92(1);
– Possess prohibited device, contrary to section 92(2);
– Possess loaded firearm, contrary to section 95(1);
– Possess stolen firearm, contrary to section 96(1); and
– Possess stolen property not exceeding $5000, contrary to section 354(1).
Brian Maksoud is further charged with the following Criminal Code of Canada offences:
– Possess prohibited weapon, contrary to section 92(2);
– Six counts of failure to comply with undertaking, contrary to section 145(5.1);
– Three counts of possessing firearm/ammunition while prohibited, contrary to section 117.01(1);
as well as the following Controlled Drugs and Substances Act offences:
– Possess Schedule II substance for the purpose of trafficking, contrary to section 5(2);
– Two counts of possess Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking, contrary to section 5(2).
Pamela Evans is further charged with possession of a Schedule II substance, contrary to section 4(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
