(SUDBURY, ON)- On April 4, 2016, at approximately 11:30 a.m., members from the Sudbury Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) initiated a traffic stop on Highway 69, in the City of Greater Sudbury.
As a result of the investigation, it was found that the vehicle the male driver was operating had an expired validation sticker and no insurance.
Calvin HAMILTON, 26 years of age, from Sudbury, was charged with the following:
Operate motor vehicle on highway without insurance, contrary to the Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act
Drive motor vehicle, no currently validated permit, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act
The accused will appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Sudbury, on May 16, 2016.
