H-Suzanne Savage – Drunk Driving

(South Huron, ON) On May 23, 2010 at approximately 3:30 pm, Huron OPP officers were alerted to a possible impaired driver northbound on London Road from Middlesex County. Officers were able to locate and stop the suspect vehicle in Exeter. Upon speaking to the driver, the officer detected the odour of an alcoholic beverage on her breath. The officer read a demand for the driver to provide a roadside sample of her breath and she complied but failed the test. The driver was then arrested and taken to the Exeter OPP Detachment where she met with a qualified Intoxilizer Technician to provide two more samples of her breath. The results of her tests confirmed that the driver had in excess of two times above the legal limit of alcohol in her system at the time of driving.

As a result of the traffic complaint and stop, H-Suzanne SAVAGE (55) of Goderich has been charged with one count of Drive With Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol. She will answer to her charge in the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on July 12, 2010. In addition to her charge, SAVAGE faces a 90 day drivers’ licence suspension. LP10133850
