On November 12, 2016 at 1:30 a.m., the Guelph Police received the report of a possible impaired driver coming into Guelph on Highway 124. Police later located the vehicle driving on Silvercreek Parkway/Waterloo Avenue and conducted a traffic stop. Police spoke with the male driver, determined he was impaired by alcohol and he was arrested.
Gustavo Wilches, 45 years of Cambridge has been charged with impaired driving and drive over 80 mg. He will appear in court on November 25, 2016.
