(ASHFIELD-COLBORNE-WAWANOSH, ON) – Huron OPP officers are investigating a break, enter and theft at a farm house located on Loyal Line. Those responsible forced entry into the unoccupied house and stole several items including a gun vault containing twelve firearms. This crime took place sometime between 9:00 p.m. on September 5, 2012 and 3:30 p.m. on September 6, 2012.
Among the stolen items are:
A brown steel gun vault that weighs nearly 300 lbs
Antique Cooey .22 caliber rifle made in 1834 valued at $400
Magnum .22 caliber rifle with attached scope
Remington 243 pump action rife with attached scope
Mossberg 12 gauge pump action shotgun
Ultra Light 12 gauge pump action shotgun
.410 gauge shotgun
3 other unspecified .22 caliber rifles
3 other unspecified shotguns
A small black tool box containing miscellaneous ammunition
A brand new “Frigidaire†dehumidifier valued at $300
A “Chubb†personal safe containing identification
