(North Kawartha Township, ON) – Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a cottage Break and Enter on Eels Lake Road.
After the suspect(s) ransacked the cottage, they damaged a gun safe in an attempt to steal firearms. Inside the garage, suspects stole a green 2000 Polaris 500 Sportsman.
Property owners who access their cottages off of Eels Lake Road are encouraged to check on their properties and report unlawful entries to police.
