On July 23, 2015 at 12:05 p.m., it is alleged that two vehicles were involved in a relatively minor motor vehicle collision on Paisley Road. Investigation lead to the arrest of one of the drivers.
Deanna Winterkorn, a 50 year old Guelph woman, was charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle – by Drug. She will appear in court on September 4, 2015.
Care and Control Arrest
On July 23, 2015 at 5:30 p.m., the Guelph Police received a report of an erratic driver on Woodlawn Road. Police were able to locate the vehicle and driver in a parking lot off of Victoria Road. Police spoke to him and determined he was impaired by alcohol.
Frank Tavascia, a 71 year old Guelph man, was arrested for having care and control of a motor vehicle while impaired. He will appear in court on August 28, 2015.
Break and Enter
On July 23, 2015, the Guelph Police went to an Edinburgh Road residence to investigate a break and enter. The culprit(s) entered sometime between 8:45 a.m. and 4:25 p.m. and stole cash.
