Guelph Police check school

On November 1, 2013, at 8:22 p.m., the Guelph Police attended to GCVI’s student graduation ceremony after receiving unconfirmed, anonymous information that there was a person at the ceremony who was in possession of a gun. Officers from Guelph Police Neighbourhood Services and Tactics & Rescue Unit were dispatched. The school was cleared and no person with a gun was located. A description of a possible person of interest in this incident is described as 6′, slim build, wearing a charcoal bomber style jacket with a hood, and black pants.
