(Picton, ON) On Sunday the 19th of February a complaint was received by Prince Edward OPP officers regarding a residence on Royal Road where a possible firearm had been observed as well as marihuana plants growing within the home.
With the assistance of the Prince Edward County Crime Unit, a search warrant for the residence was obtained and subsequently executed on Monday the 20th of February.
A quantity of marihuana plants were located in the residence and the firearm in question turned out to be a pellet gun.
Charged with Producing a Schedule II Substance under the Controlled Drug and Substance Act is Douglas TINNEY. TINNEY will appear in Picton court on the 29th of March to answer to the charge.
