(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON.) – A recent vehicle stop conducted by the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has resulted in a Peterborough man facing numerous Highway Traffic Act (HTA) related charges.
On April 7, 2015 an OPP officer observed a vehicle speeding on Highway 115 and subsequently stopped the vehicle. Further investigation revealed that the driver was suspended from driving.
Gregory SMITH, 52 years of age, was charged with speeding, driving while suspended and failing to surrender permit for motor vehicle. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
The accused will appear in court, in Lindsay, on June 8, 2015.
