(ELGIN COUNTY, ON) – At approximately 11:20 a.m. Elgin County OPP responded to a single motor vehicle collision on the 401 highway west bound lanes between Union and Iona road. A west bound gravel truck blew a tire and then entered the north bound ditch. To facilitate the clean up the 401 westbound slow lane will be closed till at least 4p.m. Drivers are reminded to expect delays in this area and to plan accordingly. The driver of the gravel truck was uninjured.
