Grade Six Students To Attend New OPP Program Graduation

(CLEARVIEW & SPRINGWATER TOWNSHIP & WASAGA BEACH, ON.) – A new program called OPP KIDS was introduced into 13 elementary schools in the Huronia West Detachment area this year. Sexting, Cyberbullying, Sexual Harassment, Youth and the Law, Drugs and Mental Health were some of the key topics discussed during this new 6 week in school program. The OPP KIDS program has been well received by both students and educators. The OPP KIDS program replaces the DARE program and is presented to grade 6 students.

This course end celebration will consist of specialty units presentations, an interactive videogame designed for students by the OPP, fun with the OPP museum and a chance for the kids to get up close with OPP vehicles.
