(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County detachment has charged a 57-year-old male after police stopped a motor vehicle at a Hillcrest Road, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Saturday, January 7, 2017, at approximately 4:43 p.m., police were contacted by a concerned citizen about a vehicle that was travelling southbound in the northbound lanes of Park Road. Officers patrolling the area located the vehicle and subsequently stopped it to investigate the driver at a Hillcrest Road address.
As a result of investigation, police have charged a 57-year-old Gordon PIKE of Brantford, Ontario with impaired driving, care or control over 80mgs and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
He is to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charges.
