(ZORRA TOWNSHIP) – Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating theft of golf carts from Happy Hills Resort in Zorra Township.
Sometime overnight August 1, 2016 to August 2, 2016 unknown suspect(s) removed two (2) golf carts along with eleven (11) batteries from Happy Hills Resort on Road 92. The items were stolen from within Happy Hills Resort which has a gate controlled entrance.
On August 2, 2016, the golf carts were located by an employee on the 29th Line, south of Road 92. The golf carts had been stripped of rims, tires, drive system, and one radio system.
Oxford OPP is continuing to investigate.
The OPP is asking residents to be vigilant in recognizing suspicious people or vehicles that may be in your neighbourhoods, or travelling aimlessly up and down roads. The public should try to get descriptions, licence plate numbers and direction of travel and report this immediately to their local police service. It is important for this information to get to police when the suspects may still be in the area.
