Goderich Drug Bust – HAKKERS & WEITZEL

(GODERICH, ON) – On Wednesday, May 30, 2018, members from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Huron-Perth Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), Huron County OPP and West Region Emergency Response Team (ERT) executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at a residence located on Nelson Street East, in the Town of Goderich, Huron County, Ontario.

As a result of the execution of the search warrant two individuals have been arrested and charged. Additionally, police seized Methamphetamine, Cocaine, Cannabis resin, Cannabis Marihuana, Heroin, MDMA (Ecstasy) and Methylphenidate. The estimated, combined street value of the seized controlled substances is $2,165.

Police also seized offence related property that consisted of drug trafficking paraphernalia and cash.

Goderich residents, 33-year-old Carol HAKKERS and 45-year-old Rebecca WEITZEL are both facing the following charges:

Possession of Methamphetamine for the Purposes of Trafficking

Possession of Cannabis Marihuana for the Purposes of Trafficking

Possession of a Schedule II Substance (Cannabis Resin)

Possession of a Schedule I Substance (Heroin)

Possession of a Schedule I Substance (Methylenedioxyamphetamine) (MDMA)

Possession of a Schedule III Substance (Methylphenidate)

Possession of a Schedule I Substance (Cocaine)

Both have since been released from custody with court appearances scheduled for

July 9, 2018 at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich.
