(SUDBURY, ON)- On March 22, 2016, the Sudbury Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Highway Safety Division (HSD) was on general patrol on Highway 144 near the town of Dowling, in the City of Greater Sudbury.
At approximately 2:50 p.m., a southbound passenger car was observed travelling at a high rate of speed and as a result was stopped for “Stunt Driving”.
The driver, Robyn GLEASON, 18 years of age, from Azilda, was charged with Race a Motor Vehicle, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.
The accused driver’s licence was suspended for seven days and the vehicle she was operating was impounded for seven days.
The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Sudbury, on May 2, 2016.
