(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment has charged a 29-year-old female after police stopped a vehicle at a Norfolk Street South, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Sunday, April 24, 2016, at approximately 2:00 a.m., an alert citizen contacted police about a vehicle that was travelling on Oak Street. Police responded to the area and located the vehicle at a Norfolk Street South address.
As a result of investigation, police arrested and charged 29-year-old Julianne Brittany GILPIN of Norfolk County, Ontario with impaired driving and driving over the legal limit.
She is to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charges.

There will be zero tolerance for motorists driving aggressively, impaired by drugs or alcohol, distracted drivers or those who fail to buckle up. Driving safety is everyone’s responsibility and it starts before the vehicle is put into drive” comments Constable Ed Sanchuk, Norfolk County OPP.
