(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TOWNSHIP, ON) -On February 5, 2014 at approximately 1:44 a.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were patrolling Wellington Road 86 near Eighth Line East, Guelph-Eramosa Township. A female driving a 2005 Chevrolet was stopped for a Highway Traffic Act violation. During the conversation, officers noted that the driver showed signs of consuming alcohol. She was given a Roadside Screening Device Test which resulted in a fail.
The Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (ADLS) program was initiated and her motor vehicle was impounded for seven days.
Gillian PRIMEAU age 24 of Elmira has been charged with Over 80 contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. She is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on February 21, 2014 to answer to the charge.
