Ghana ADHIKARI – Drunk Driving

(CHATHAM, ON) On August 1, 2017, around 1:00 a.m., Chatham-Kent Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a traffic complaint of a possible impaired driver traveling eastbound on Highway 401 near Queens Line.

The vehicle was located stopped and while speaking with the driver, the officer determined the driver had consumed alcohol. The driver was transported to the detachment for further tests.

As a result, the male driver, Ghana ADHIKARI, 25-year-old of Windsor has been charged with drive motor vehicle while ability impaired and drive motor vehicle with more than 80 milligrams of alcohol in blood contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.

The accused is required to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on August 29, 2017 to answer to the charges.
