(NAPANEE, ON) – On October 29, 2016 at 9:00 am Napanee Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police responded to an assault report. The victim and the suspect were still at the scene when police arrived. Police arrested and charged 55 year old Gerald MCCAULEY of Napanee for assaulting a 29 year old female. The female did not sustain serious injuries. He was released by officers on a Promise to Appear and scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Napanee on December 6th, 2016 at 9:30 am.
