(SELWYN TOWNSHIP, ON) – Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called when a motorist noticed a vehicle driving erratically on Yankee Line last night shortly before 10:00pm.
The witness followed the suspect vehicle and directed officers until it was stopped by police. Gerald BERNER (age 65) of North Kawartha Township, ON was arrested and charged with:
Impaired Driving
Drive vehicle with more than 80mg in 100ml of blood
The accused is scheduled to appear in Ontario Court of Justice in Peterborough, Ontario on May 18, 2017.
