(Hawkesbury, ON) On Thursday December 11th, at approximately 2:30 pm, Hawkesbury OPP officers investigated a sexual assault that occurred at the Atout Prix Gas Station situated at 235 McGill Street in the Town of Hawkesbury.
A 20 year old man reported that a 44 year old gas attendant sexually touched him while he was in the store minutes earlier.
The gas attendant lured the victim in the backstore where he grabbed the victim’s genitals.
The victim was not hurt and immediately left the gas station heading to the police station where he reported the sexual assault.
Atiqur SIKDER (44 yrs) of Hawkesbury was arrested and charged for Sexual Assault
under section 271 of the Criminal Code of Canada.
The matter was investigated by Constable Marc Lauzon.
The accused was later released and is scheduled to appear at the L’Orignal Court on January 14th 2015.
