Gas Line Struck – No One Hurt

(TOW OF ERIN, ON) – On Thursday June 21, 2018 at approximately 9:00 a.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a natural gas leak, Main Street, Erin. Initial reports indicated that a contractor had stuck and severed a gas line while trenching along the road.

OPP as well as the Town of Erin Fire & Emergency Services attended. Traffic was momentarily delayed and pedestrian traffic was diverted. Enbridge natural gas division is expected to attend and service the line break.
