On April 12th Barrie Police Service along with the Barrie Fire Department and Ambulance Services attended 14 Worsley Street for a report of a gas leak.
Through investigation it was found that the leak was in the garage area.
The apartment building was evacuated and residents were accommodated on two city buses.
The residents were allowed back in their units within a few hours after the clean-up was completed by Barrie Fire.
