(Selwyn Township, ON) – Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are currently investigating the collision of a garbage truck into a residential home on Charles Street in Bridgenorth just before 8:00am this morning.
The driver of the truck has been transported and is being treated a Peterborough Regional Health Centre (PRHC). A natural gas line was damaged in the collision but has since been shut off. Although there were people home at the time of the collision no one at the residence was injured. The collision remains under investigation.
