Garage Goat Triggers Call To Police

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment investigated an incident after be called to a Lynn Valley Road, Simcoe, Norfolk County address.

On Monday, July 16, 2018 at approximately 8:47 a.m., police received a report of an animal complaint.

Through the course of the investigation, it was determined that a homeowner entered their garage and located a goat. The resident immediately contact police at which time officers arrived and located the owner of the animal. The escaped goat was returned to its rightful owner and no injuries were reported as a result of this incident.

The officers that arrived at the address were able to quickly locate the owner of the goat and safely return the animal to its rightful owner.” – Constable Ed Sanchuk
