(NORTH MIDDLESEX, ON) – On December 28, 2013 at approximately 9:18 p.m. Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on Centre Road in the Municipality of North Middlesex. An investigation revealed the driver was using plates not authorized for the vehicle he was driving. Further investigation revealed the driver carried a G1 licence and was driving without a qualified driver in the vehicle.
As a result, police have served a Provincial Offences Notice (PON) to Adam Mallet, age 33 of North Middlesex for the following charges:
Use plate not authorized for vehicle under the Highway Traffic Act (HTA)
Class G1 licence holder – unaccompanied by qualified driver under the HTA
The driver was escorted to his residence and the licence plates were seized from the vehicle.
