(Selwyn Township, ON) – Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) will be assisting the Peterborough Huskies in a fundraising barbeque. Giant Tiger will host the event on Saturday June 20, 2015 from 10:00am to 5:00pm. The Huskies are a special needs hockey team that include all everyone regardless of experience or skating ability.
Please join us for a hot dog! Police officers, Auxiliary members and players from PGHA Ice Kats and Peterborough Minor Petes will be helping to support inclusivity in hockey within our community. All proceeds will assist the Huskies with equipment purchases, ice times and tournaments. The Huskies are also looking for any donations of gently used hockey equipment.
