Fund Raiser

(WASAGA BEACH, ON.) On September 5th, 2013 the Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police will be partnering with the Wasaga Beach Harvey’s Restaurant, Collingwood’s Kamikaze Cycling Shop and Stonebridge Town Center to raise funds to assist a Wasaga Beach resident who has Multiple Sclerosis and Diabetes purchase a specially made recumbent tricycle.

Mark Harrison is a 30 year old Wasaga Beach resident who valiantly each day faces these debilitating illnesses with a smile and moves forward. However this recumbent tricycle would give Mark a needed form of personal transportation that he currently lacks.

To assist in this fund raiser staff from Kamikaze Cycling Shop will be on site for part of the day to talk about cycling, bike maintenance and for a donation do minor bike repairs.

In addition members of the Huronia West OPP will be on hand to talk about cycling safety and the laws that impact this activity. In addition we will be on hand to serve you your burger.

This fund raiser will run from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a portion from sales at the Wasaga Beach Harvey’s that day being generously donate.
