(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH SOUTH, ON) On Monday February 08, 2011, shortly after 7:30 a.m., a Perth County OPP officer patrolling Perth Road 139 north of Prospect Hill observed a car with frosted over windows that did not allow the driver a clear view. The officer pulled over the car, spoke to the driver and immediately detected a strong odour of freshly burned marijuana from inside the vehicle.
The officer seized a bag of marijuana and arrested the 25 year old male driver from London with possession of marijuana under thirty grams. The male was released on a Promise to Appear and is to appear in Stratford Criminal Court on March 21, 2011 to answer to the charge.
