(COLLINGWOOD, ONTARIO) Officers from the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) arrested and charged a group home employee after it was found that she had fraudulently withdrawn money from a resident’s bank account.
On the 18th of March 2014 police were made aware of suspicious withdrawls that were made from a group home resident’s bank account totalling $2000. Investigation led police to the identification of the culprit and subsequent arrest.
Charged is 37 year-old Sandra COUTTS of Wasaga Beach, she is facing charges of theft under $5000 and two counts of use of credit card. She is to appear in Collingwood court on the 27th of May 2014.
