Frank SANTOS – Drunk Driving, Stolen Licence Plates

(CITY OF GUELPH, ON) – On November 27, 2014 at approximately 12:42 a.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Traffic Management Unit (TMU) officers were on patrol and stopped a 2001 Chevrolet on Highway 6 near Woodlawn Road, Guelph. Police spoke the male driver and suspected that he had consumed alcohol. A test was performed with a Road Side Screening Device which resulted in a fail. He was arrested and brought to a local OPP Operations Centre for further testing. It was also revealed that the licence plates on the vehicle were reported stolen.

Frank SANTOS age 44 of Orangeville has been charged with Over 80 and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000 contrary to the Criminal Code. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on January 9, 2015 to answer to the charges.
