(CALEDON, ON) – On June 22, 2016 at approximately 12:02 am, officers from the Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to a suspicious vehicle on Lady Godiva Drive at the intersection of Ernest Biason Boulevard.
Upon arrival Police located a white cargo van, stopped at a stop sign, the engine was running, lights on, and a male slumped at the wheel.
Upon investigation, the officer determined that the driver’s ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired by drugs and arrested the operator of the van accordingly.
As a result, Frank GRECO, 45, of Caledon was charged with the following offences under the Criminal Code of Canada:
Adult Care or Control while Impaired (Drug)
Adult Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Cocaine
Adult Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Other Drugs, 3 counts.
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to make his first appearance at the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville on July 25, 2016.
